summer
A long, light season
2 Corinthians 4:6
"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ."
The apostle Paul wrote these words to the church in Corinth to remind them of the light of God's love and grace that shines in our hearts through the revelation of Jesus Christ. This light not only illuminates our hearts but also brings understanding and knowledge of God's glory.
In our current circumstances, where the days may seem dark due to the challenges we face, let us not forget the unchanging truth of God's Word. God brought light out of darkness, He can bring light and hope into our circumstances! No matter how difficult the situation, we have a God who is great and powerful.
As the days become longer and lighter, be encouraged to reflect on and tap into the light of Christ that shines in us. Allow His light to drive away any darkness that may be lingering in our hearts and minds. And remember to share it.
Be mindful of those around us who are struggling and extend the light of God's love, grace, and mercy to them. Let our words, actions, and attitudes radiate light and draw others closer to the source of all light, Jesus himself.
Our prayer is that we all have a long and light Summer!
